As the largest music organisation in the city, we stage a whole range of performances and events at Liverpool Philharmonic. We are currently recruiting a Special Project Coordinator who will support the impeccable delivery of Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra concerts across our Pops, Family Concert, cross-genre, festival and Chamber Concert series. You will aid the team in successfully delivering a wide range of concerts, often with complex production requirements, and help to devise future performances to attract new audiences too. You’ll help to gather and communicate all technical and artist information ahead of the concert, and then welcome our visiting artists to our performance venues. If you have some experience of working within the music/events sector, have successfully advanced and delivered live music events, and are an organised and logical collaborator, this might be the perfect role for you.

We inspire, entertain and engage people of all ages and backgrounds through music. We bring together artists, audiences and communities in shared experiences that uplift the human spirit and transform people’s lives.

We aim to make a valued contribution to the prosperity and wellbeing of the people of Liverpool City Region and to be recognised nationally and internationally as a leading music organisation with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at its heart.

Our values inform everything we do every day. Equity and inclusion are embedded within every aspect of this Plan. Our values underpin our culture as a collaborative, caring, supportive and inclusive team in which everyone feels valued, enjoys their work, has opportunities to develop, and is part of a progressive organisation that recognises and celebrates success.

  • Passionate about Music

It is why we are here. Everything we do enables us to better connect artists, audiences and communities within and beyond the concert hall, maximising the power of music to transform people’s lives.

  • Excellence

We aspire for the highest quality in everything we do and we are ambitious in being a world class organisation.

  • Ensemble

We work together as one team focused on the impact we make with artists, audiences and the communities we serve.

  • Welcoming

We welcome and value everyone in our organisation and the people with whom we come into contact, committed to advancing equity, diversity and inclusion in music and society.

Liverpool Philharmonic transforms lives through music. We champion equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging throughout our organisation, our activities, and in the artists and music genres we present.

Our team is a dynamic group of people from all walks of life, united in our passion for music. We’re committed to ensuring that everyone feels welcome and everyone is able to thrive, regardless of who they are and where they are from.  We are committed to developing a more diverse workforce through encouraging applicants with the skills and experience that help us to widen our perspective and better serve the needs of the Liverpool City Region and our communities.

We particularly encourage applications from individuals from disabled, minority ethnic, and working-class communities as these groups are currently underrepresented within the creative industries.
