This is a Permanent, Part Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Liverpool Philharmonic is one of the UK’s leading music organisations, hosting a wide range of classical, rock, pop, world music, film and comedy events every year – we’re currently looking for Technical Staff to help make sure those events are staged efficiently and safely. 

If you're new to the Events Production Industry and you would like to expand your experience of sound, lighting and video equipment, or if you're an established events technician looking for a new challenge we'd love to hear from you. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside a world class orchestra as well as helping to deliver our varied programme of professional incoming touring productions. If you're a problem solver with a passion for music and an eye for detail who is conscientious, motivated and you enjoy working within a team, this role could be for you.

As with most operational events roles, you will be required to work late evenings and weekends. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and sometimes be required to seek quick solutions under pressure. If this doesn't sound like your kind of environment, then this role may not be for you.

Due to the requirements of the role, applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Mandatory training

Role specific training will be given to all successful candidates with ongoing further training when in post. Please note, it is mandatory that all potential candidates are able to attend training on the following dates:

Thursday 28th August 2025 from 6pm

And either

Tuesday 2nd September 2025 or Tuesday 16th September 2025 from 6pm
